Body Story #8
I am 7 years old. I must have recently lost my baby teeth, but now I have two big front teeth, which seem extra big in my still small mouth. One of them has a slight discolouration, which I examine in the mirror alot. It is my 1st communion in a few weeks, and I'm concerned about not having a perfect white smile for it. There is so much fuss about how I will look. I'm not used to the attention, or thinking too much about how I look.
I brush my teeth over and over. I can still see myself, standing over the sink, looking in the mirror, brushing and brushing trying to get that 'perfect' smile. (Spoiler alert: I still have a small discolouration on my front tooth)
