Aoife Concannon is a creative producer and an interdisciplinary artist based in Dublin.

I am interested in collaboration, connection and communication - between individuals, community groups and the natural world. My social practice is primarily process led, and contains both symbolic and performative output, as well as workshop-based participation.

My recent project EveryBODY examined personal narrative through the physical bodily experience using storytelling, mark-making and alternative explorations of (self) portraiture. Through funding from Arts Council Ireland and as a Create Artist in the Community the work developed into explorations of the maternal experience, working with groups of perinatal women exploring their bodily experiences through somatic practice, testimonial and writing, and visual interpretations of experience.

My own visual art practice is in Painting (largely abstract or expressive painting) and Photography.

Aside from my own practice, I also work with organisations and artists as a Creative Producer bringing bring a range of practical, logistical
and creative skills to each project or organisation.

'70 Women Who've Shaped Irish Culture' (The Irish Times) for my work with Mother Tongues Festival.

I am a qualified Yoga Practitioner and incorporate this training into my social art practice.
